A Lab Book to go Along with the Course March 31, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Switching Basics is the third course of four in the CCNA program. Specifically this book will concentrate on these main areas of CCNA 3: . Advanced IP addressing techniques (VLSM) . Routing protocols,RIPv2, single-area OSPF and EIGRP . Switching technologies and LAN design . Switch configurations: security, STP, VLANs and VTP.
The format of this book is of exercises. These vary from 'select one from column A to match one from column B,' to define these terms, to descriptions of optional test equipment you may be using. It's sort of a sample test that is in the form of a whole book. The completion of this book will leave you in good shape to continue with the final CCNA course that follows. The pages are perforated so that they may be torn out and handed in if you are using this book as part of a course.
My Lab Book February 12, 2007 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
ths lab book purchased was missing diagrams. when this was pointed out,( noted which printing was in error) a new book was sent with the same errors. I then receid emails wanting to charge me for the additional book!!!! I of course end the second book back, but never received any appology or compensation for a book that is lacking all the information.
