As a full-time teacher of psychology, Karen Huffman knows that covering all the major concepts and theories, while still presenting the exciting and practical applications of psychology, is a challenge. I purchased the book 7/1/08 and have not still received it 8/4/08. Is this an internet scam? Is the owner trying to keep us away from Amazon? Amazon should talk to the seller to refund my money urgently.
I sent two emails to the seller but have not had the matter resolved.

Easy to follow and understand December 18, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I thought this book was well written in a way that anyone could understand, but also challenged students to think critically and to not accept everything at face value, but to investigate and make their own opinions.
This book is totally inadequate November 14, 2007 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I am a psychology professor and this is one of the books I reviewed. It is inaccurate in a number of places and fuzzy in others. The standard is not up to a college textbook. To me, this represents dumbing down psychology.
