McShane and Von Glinow have sliced out the extended or secondary topics so students can drill down to what is really essential. Although this book is less than two-thirds the length of their comprehensive hardback textbook, it doesn�t skimp on classroom support. In this era of active learning, critical thinking, and outcomes-based teaching, these supplements are becoming more "essential" than ever.

At least it was short and too the point. my professor didn't really teach much directly from the book, but it was a nice supplement to refresh on terms and theory's. OB is very very boring January 21, 2007 0 out of 3 found this review helpful If you can avoid taking an OB course please do so. The book much like my class is all about memorizatoin. The book has nice pictures but for close to $100 why not get a book that is actually interesting to read.
