| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Created in Excel, balanced scorecards enable you to monitor operations and tactics, while operational dashboards is a set of indicators regarding the state of a business metric or process—both features are in high demand for many large organizations. This book serves as the first guide to focus on combining the benefits of balanced scorecards, operational dashboards, performance managements, and data visualization and then implement them in Microsoft Excel.

| Customer Reviews:
Great book to get going with on scordcard and dashboarding... January 1, 2009 I like this book. It is on its own, approachable and comprehensive. It begins with a fairly concise and understandable explanation of the overarching business concepts of scorcecard and dashboarding. It then moves on in increasing detail to the design and technical aspects by way of using Microsoft Excel. This is great since you can get in the sandbox without expensive software or a special server environment. Ron clearly and respectfully explains the inherent and possible limits of using Excel all the while moving you forward on general and specifics of using the technologies. If you are looking for a solid concepts to application book on the topics of scorecard and dashboarding, this is it. Once I finish proving out the remaining examples this might be updated to a 5-Star rating.
