4 out of 5 stars International Ed   October 14, 2008
If you are considering the int'l ed of this book, do not hesitate. I used it, it was identical to the US hardcover. Page for page every problem was the same. The only difference is the cover.

4 out of 5 stars A Great Start for Quantitative Methods and Analysis   August 4, 2008

For those seeking a general understanding of the major aspects of forecasting, product and service design, strategic capacity planning, quality management, inventory management, scheduling, SCM and so on, this is a great book. I loved the way Stevenson reduced the complex procdedures to easily understable steps. There's no wonder why this has become the most widely used text in Operations Management.

1 out of 5 stars It's the INTERNATIONAL EDITION   June 5, 2008

I thought I'd put that in there because no one seems to want to specify, GENERAL RULE OF THUMB, IF IT IS PAPERBACK IT IS THE INTERNATIONAL EDITION, HARDBACK USUALLY MEANS THAT IT IS THE U.S. EDITION. in comparison of the 2, the text is usually pretty close to the same, some information may be on different pages but the problems at the end of each chapter are always different. I don't advise getting the international edition if you are studying in the U.S.
