Best Calendar for a Busy Family September 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this calendar. I've used Amy's calendar for 4 years now. There's plenty of room to write all the activities for a busy family. I love the dinner section, since I helps me plan dinner and just a quick glance I know what to grab out of the freezer the night before. It's a great tool and a must have.
not a family organizer September 11, 2008 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
The calendar is ok - certainly not a "family organizer". I have been using a Thinkbin calendar for a number of years and loved it because of the large squares/day and the morning-afternoon-evening separations within each daily square, but they seem not to be producing calendars anymore. The Amy Knapp calendar is not nearly as big as the Thinkbin, nor are the daily squares as big. I dont know why it is called a "family organizer" as it is a marginally-larger-than-regular calendar which comes with stickers. (which are difficult to peel off their page and are not totally perforated so tear when one tries to use them). The description offered about the calendar does not show a picture of the actual page so was slightly misleading. There are no divisions of the day, no divisions for any number of family members, nor any "organizing" format. If you are looking for a wall calendar with family-oriented stickers, thsi is for you. If you are looking for a wall-organizer, keep looking!
Like the layout, HATE the paper - too thin. August 24, 2008 20 out of 20 found this review helpful
2009 Amy Knapp's Big Grid Family Organizer wall calendar It's hard to tell online how a calendar will "feel" when you get it home.....I actually like the layout of the calendar and it's large size. The one thing I hate - and the reason I won't be able to use it - is that it is printed on standard, thin paper. If you like to use felt tip pens, markers, or highlighters to write boldly on your calendars, it will bleed through on this one. That's a big deal for me, so now I'm back at Amazon to buy a different calendar - $10 down the tubes.
