4 out of 5 stars Not bad for the $   January 9, 2009
I bought this planner after looking through tons of different styles and the reviews for each. This is a great little book! My only problem with it is there is not much room for notes and extras. It would be GREAT if they had a place for swatches and pictures. I've been taping little color ribbons in the pages to try and have my samples of my colors on hand. The cover is kinda cheap but for the cash i don't mind too much. I broke a corner the first day though, so be careful!

1 out of 5 stars Don't Be Fooled by the CUTE Cover   January 4, 2009
I bought this book because I thought it was really cute, it was a binder, and because the reviews were good. Once I opened it up and began to read I realized it was not that good. The book gives lots of ideas on how to save money, but I think all of the ideas look very cheap and require hours and hours of work. Something I do not have, nor does many people. I ended up throwing away all of the pages and kept the binder, because I thought it was cute. It was a big waste of money. DON'T BUY IT!!!!!!!

4 out of 5 stars Great Planner!   December 15, 2008
I would definitely recommend this planner to organize all your wedding planning papers and info. Can't say I'll be trying many of the craft projects such as "reception sneakers" where they recommend bedazzling a pair of keds to wear with your dress... but the contact lists, budget planner, timeline, checklist, and folder pockets in each section are great! I also love the three rings to add in the hundreds of papers you'll start to accumulate from vendors.

3 out of 5 stars a present from the maid of honor   December 1, 2008
2 out of 2 found this review helpful

I bought this for a friend who is getting married, and I am the maid of honor. I thought it would be a cute little addition to my engagement gift and that it might be helpful. The price was cheap, so even if she never used it I wouldn't care. Well, she loves it. It helps her keep everything organized. It has folders for all the sections. We went dress shopping the other day and she brought it with her. In there she had pictures of dresses, and when she bought the dress the receipt went right in there as well. She is very organized so I think she really appreciates that she has somewhere to put all the papers she gets for the wedding. I would definitely recommend this for someone who is not organized, but I would recommend this for someone who is super organized as well. There is lots of space for details that you want to fill in, she doesn't really use that but someone who is really organized might want to write things down. It also has a countdown, things you should do 12 months before, 6 months, etc, which is really helpful for the bride who has no idea when she needs to do things by in order for them to be ready for the wedding date. Overall it was a hit, and I'm glad.
