Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
In Cancer Is Not A Disease, bestselling author and internationally acclaimed health expert, Andreas Moritz, proves the point that cancer is the physical symptom reflecting our body's final attempt to eliminate specific life-destructive causes. He claims that removing such causes sets the precondition for complete healing of our body, mind and emotions. This book confronts you with a radically new understanding of cancer - one that outdates the current cancer model. On average, the conventional approaches of killing, cutting or burning cancerous cells offer most patients a remission rate of merely 7%, and the majority of the few survivors are "cured" for just five years or less. The prominent cancer researcher and professor at the University of California (Berkeley), Dr. Hardin Jones, stated: "Patients are as well, or better off, untreated." Any published success figures in cancer survival statistics are offset by equal or better scores among those not receiving any treatments. More people are killed by the treatments than saved. Cancer is Not a Disease shows you why regular cancer treatments can be fatal, what actually causes cancer, and how you can remove the obstacles that prevent the body from healing itself. Cancer is not an attempt on your life; to the contrary, cancer is trying to save it. Unless we change our perception of what cancer really is, it will continue to threaten the life of nearly one out of every two people. This book opens a door for those who wish to turn feelings of victimhood into empowerment and self-mastery, and disease into health.

5 out of 5 stars essential reading   October 9, 2008
Perhaps the only book that spells it out for us: cancer is a symptom of toxicity, not a disease. When its root causes are addressed, claims the author (with decades of experience to back this up) "cancer is as harmless as a simple cold".

Ample evidence is provided to show that conventional treatments can only be called premeditated murder since they neither cure nor heal; they merely shrink tumours and the true survival rate is 7 per cent. Would you take your car to a garage that gave a less than 10 percent chance of fixing it? No? Then why take your body to a bunch of people who can't fix it?

Read this book if you have cancer, if you know someone with cancer, and even if not.

4 out of 5 stars At last a healthy way to look at cancer   September 30, 2008

It's about time someone had a different perspective on a cancer diagnosis. When someone mentions "cancer" everyone cringes. It is not a time to be scared but to take action and get your body back to a healthy state.

5 out of 5 stars Deep, Profound Look At The Nature of Illness   May 19, 2008
6 out of 7 found this review helpful

This book is a gem, a deep, profound look at the nature of illness and what we can learn from it in order to heal ourselves on all levels. The roots of this understanding are metaphysical. Having just published a metaphysical book with similar ideas I appreciate how Moritz, an ayurvedic physician, applies this wisdom to healing. Cancer is carefully examined to understand how it is created in the body and how we can heal ourselves in ways that resolve the underlying disharmonies and bring ourselves back into balance and wholeness. The medical model of fighting cancer is rejected. Using natural foods, energetic healing, and resolving repressed emotions and healing dualistic beliefs are methods of addressing the roots of illness. There is a wealth of wisdom and informed guidance here, I highly recommend this book!

4 out of 5 stars Very imformative - Makes sense   May 3, 2008

This book really made sense. It promotes a natural lifestyle, eliminating chemicals from your life as much as possible. The positive thinking aspect also makes sense. This is a must read for everyone in this day and age of chemical overload, polution, genetically modified foods, etc. It really gave me a lot to think about and definitely changed my opinion on cancer! Some of the spiritual stuff was a little out there, but if you can get past that, the other information was really helpful.

5 out of 5 stars enlightened by this book   April 28, 2008

This books makes incredible sense and is very well written. Easy to read, hard to put down. I tried to get my ill husband to read it but he is so entrenched with conventional medicine that it didn't do him any good. The information in this book can not only help someone who has cancer, but can also wake up anyone who wants to stay healthy and help a person change damaging lifestyle elements to keep from getting cancer.
