Product Description
Stir outrageous characters in a thick sauce of greed and you have the recipe for Silicon Valley Game. This is a humorous, naughty book that really dishes. Everyone searching Google is curious to peek inside lives caught in the Silicon Valley Game. What will they find? Answer - backstabbing, gossip and juicy scheming. A woman bodybuilder holds inquisitions in The Pit and dueling CEOs fire paint balls at each other. Escort girls serve only guys with platinum credit cards. Workers trade secrets and sex, afraid they will wake up betrayed by confidants and lovers. Silicon Valley Game uses humor to unveil poignant truths, hidden from the public. It isn't easy to get inside that world. The area is famous, yet haunted by paranoid secrecy. In this challenging environment, the author sold her services to firms like Google, Apple and eBay. The curious anthropologist in her was delighted by the Valley's tribes and their humorous, ironic and sometimes tragic ways.

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic book - a great send-up of Silicon Valley   May 18, 2008

Truly captures the mania of the over the top Silicon Valley lifestyle. Pathos and humor were marvelous, a delightful spoof, yet true to reality. I loved the way everyone was sympathetic. Even the villains were overworked, underloved and stressed to the max. It was easy to see why they misbehaved. Michelle Beldatori, the lead character, came across as compassionate and real. Martin Avery as a venture capitalist felt a lot like Bogart in Casablanca - misunderstood, trapped, a good guy caught in a bad place. Silicon Valley Game
