content is covered by the title June 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The title does exactly cover the content. The book is plain & simple. A perfect book to start learning Expression web. See it as a good appetizer. You will not learn things into detail, but you will learn the programs possibilties in an easy and simple way. Perfect start. To go into details, you will need another book. I would definitely buy it again.
It is a good place to start May 9, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I wanted a book that would give me the ability to create a web site quickly and this book did that. It does not provide a wealth of information about Expression Web but it is a good place to start in using the program. I have since purchased other books that provide more information about the use of Expression Web in the creation of more complex web sites.
Great Book! March 20, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have purchased several books for Microsoft Expression Web. This one is the best. It is simple to read & easy to find what I am looking for when I want to go back for a review.
Absolutely useless March 12, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
There is such a thing as being too simple. This book is pretty, with green "tip" boxes, and nice screen shots, but there is absolutely nothing useful inside. An entire page explains how to add text: 1) Open the page, 2) Click on the page and start typing, 3) Press Enter. What a colossal waste of money. I wish I had bought Foundations of Microsoft Expression Web: The Basics and Beyond instead. That, at least, has some substance to it.
Outstanding resource January 28, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am no technocrat. But I need to create several Web Sites for my enterprise and was NOT looking forward to the task. This book is incredibly easy to follow and takes the curse out of the project,
