5 out of 5 stars Kaffe's books are great.   November 26, 2008
Kaffe's books are always concise and easy to follow, and this book is no exception. There are plenty of options to choose from, and I like virtually all of them.

3 out of 5 stars Fabric showcase   November 24, 2008
I have all of Kaffe Fassett's books and love his fabric however, I don't think this particular book is a good example of his work. He appears to showcase his fabric and has forgotten good design. After paging through the book numerous times I have to say some of the quilts are just plain awful. The Allottment quilt takes the prize for the ugliest. If you want large pieces of his fabric in a quilt, forget about piecing. Make a whole quilt. Kaffe needs to go back to the design board.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent!   November 19, 2008

This beautiful book would make a wonderful gift for a quilter. Arrived in excellent shape.

5 out of 5 stars Kaffe does it again!   November 12, 2008

The newest in the Kaffe Fassett book line is a new standard of color, vibrancy, and pure delight. When the phrase eye candy came into vogue, it must have been first said about the wonderful colorful interpretations Kaffe gives to the old art form of quilting, making it fresh and new. I found that having new contributors to the book makes it even more approachable. I can do it, too!! With his deceptively simple patterns, and somewhat crazy color and print variations, everything is possible.

I've just developed a taste for Kaffe's fabrics. This book is just the perfect way to focus them. The designs are one step up from simple as only a true artist can do. The simplicity of the designs let the fabrics sing. This is a great book for quilters and fabric lovers!
