Now, it kinda' takes forever to understand the new sims 3. And for all of you whom don't wanna wait that long, you can always just buy the book. Let me tell you, it was extremely helpful. Getting it used, does the trick. Doesn't matter the price as long as you can read. ^_^

This Strategy Guide has multiple categories, so it covers everything Sims 3.
Spilling all the hints and tips, this book really helped. There were a lot of secrets, shortcuts, etc. Even a 'Day in the Life' chapter, where the author showed how her and her husband survived the Sim life.
Every family that you make is unique, so there isn't really a cheat for your family. But the book does include cheat codes so you can get more money, aspiration, etc.
There were also many suggestions of how to shape your family. It really helped!
It covers the basics and more advanced things.
From my perspective, whether you're struggling with this game or just wanting to know more, you should get this strategy guide!

I love the game, and I am very satisfied with the purchase. I do caution anyone that is thinking of purchasing this game that the system requirements listed are the absolute minimum and the game will be barely playable with those specs.
Like all of the other Sims titles, it is a very addictive game!
