Product Description Straight from the Motor-City Madman comes the wildest, most politically incorrect book yet. In The Nugent Manifesto, rocker/hunter extraordinaire Ted Nugent is taking aim and setting his sights on our country. In his trademark unapologetic style, Nugent will praise God, guns, and red-blooded, full-throated Americanism against pantywaist politicians, nanny-state judges, and tofu-eating Obamamaniacs, calling on readers to "Roll up your damn sleeves, sharpen your crowbars, and think hardcore." The Nugent Manifesto follows up his New York Times bestseller God, Guns, and Rock 'N' Roll and his wildly successful cookbook, Kill It & Grill It. Look out America, "The Nuge" is back--and with a whole new arsenal of "Tedisms" ready for launch!

Best book I've ever read!!! November 30, 2008 A very good straight forward approach to what is wrong with America. This is a no nonsense book on what America needs to clean up to get back on track.
THE NUGE IS RIGHT ON !!! November 30, 2008 Ted Nuggent is a great American. He is out spoken and is not political correct. Although he is correct on about every issue the American public faces. A must read for all patriots. NUGE '12
Protect the Secont Amendment!!! November 24, 2008 Ted is a strong voice and patriot in support of our constitutional rights that are in such fragile status these days.
The Right Way To Go November 23, 2008 If you are still an American, please read this book. It is a shame that socialism is running rampant in America. You might not agree with everything that Mr Nugent says and believes, but at least it will give you a solid basis to form your own opinions and beliefs based upon thinking for yourself. Bold and refreshing, this book certainly will get the fires within burning brightly. And the best part is that you might even begin to shed your government-based thinking that says they know how to provide everything for you. Well worth your time and attention.
Same Ol' Same Ol' ?? November 21, 2008 0 out of 16 found this review helpful
I didn't read this book. I refuse to spend a dime on Nugent's "manifesto", as I can probably predict what he wrote without bothering to crack the cover or turn a page. He told ya'll how the world would be a great place if you listen to his advise, correct? He tried to make you believe that he is a patriotic supporter of our Founding Documents like the Constitution, right? He explains to all those "who are not brain dead numb nuts" that the "liberals" (whatever that might mean) are at the root cause of all our national woes, and that the Conservatives (the TRUE conservatives) have all the answers. He pontificates about how he only eats meat he killed, pure protein venison, and that the rest of America (who don't have the ability or time to fill a freezer with a year's supply of this choice meat) are poisoning themselves by shopping at the grocery store, and not picking fresh veggies from the victory garden that every Ted Head should have in their backyards. Am I close?
Let's look at some of this a little. Ted's advice. When did Ted Nugent ever come up with an implementable solution to anything? The Economy? What's your plan, Ted... tell us how you will save us from ourselves. Tell us how you would reform the National Budget,(even though you cant balance a checkbook). Tell us how tax policy really works, instead of regurgitating Stockman's trickle-down theories. (Can you even recite what Stockman's plan was?) Gridlock in Washington politics? Oh yeah.. lets talk about how Ted Nugent can assemble individuals of opposing viewpoints and hammer out compromises. (Does the term Ted's Way or the Highway ring a bell?)
Or how about his patriotic claims (empty shells of broken eggs). His service to his country? Yeah.. he rode a helicopter on a tag along ride with Toby Keith. (get out the 50 caliber, Nuge... the Airforce has your back) His knowledge of the Constitution... Revisit his NRA convention rant where he derided due process in our court system by saying he simply wants law breakers DEAD.. no trial, no judge, no jury.... How does that work, Teddy? Oh yeah.. you forgot to read that part of the Constitution, or will you blame your BAD teachers for not drilling it into your head when you weren't listening in class.. its their fault, not yours, right?
And his "kill all my own meat" schtick.... yeah sure.. he can hunt every day from Oct to March, on game ranches where he pays (or someone gives him) all the animals he could possibly attract to his House O Stilts Corn feed pile. Most regular people can (legally) shoot one or two deer a year, and if they are lucky, spend one wild trip to Alaska to harvest a moose, once in their lifetime. His sense of reality is a bit skewed, ya thing?
And lets not even start to talk about personal responsibility. The carnage of the backtrail walking over his personal commitments to individuals is conveniently left out of this "manifesto", isn't it?
So go ahead, folks, buy the book.. put a few bucks in Nuggie's pocket, praise it with a pre-disposed Hallelujah and then buy six more for your friends and family. Cult worship is still alive and well.
