Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars good for a mac, somewhat confusing for a PC   August 23, 2005
Overall I like this book. It functions as an introductory book to Adobe InDesign CS. It teaches you the very basics of creating items in InDesign. My biggest problem with it is that the author teaches everything from a Mac. She often forgets to include instructions for Windows users and this can be quite confusing. Since I worked with Adobe's PageMaker software in high school, I was able to get around many of these snags with ease, but I don't know how well anyone else would do. That said, this is a good book, that is if you own and use a Mac, not if you use a PC.
