don't bother November 16, 2008 this book is useful for letting you know what you can do with the program, but as far as learning how to do complicated task, the book doesn't explain in enough detail for a beginner to grasp.
Sample Files Crash Program! November 13, 2008 Good. Better if the sample files included didn't crash the program! About half of the samples (there are tons of them) crash the program as soon as they open without doing anything more than opening! Very hard to imposable to do the tutorials without the samples! Would be great if it weren't for this major problem!
Torn Pages October 9, 2008 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
I recieved the book in a timely matter. The only problem with my book is that it has several torn pages. A few of the pages have print missing from the bottom of some of the pages.
DVD not included? October 1, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
On the book it says DVD included... I did not receive one in my copy. Other than that, great product! :)
Great Comprehensive Manual September 18, 2008 This product is a great comprehensive manual for 3ds Max '09. It has lots of tutorials through out the book. Very easy to understand. Would recommend to anyone looking to learn more about Max.
