4 out of 5 stars An Interesting Look Into Apple   September 3, 2008
My Mother-in-law was given a ipod a while back ago. She is not computer literate so she gave me the ipod to download some sermons and music on it. But I have started using it for myself (I will ask for forgiveness later). Apple seems to be on the cutting edge of technology and style. I love the new iphones, but cannot afford one. It seems that apple represents cool and hip these days. This book gives an inside look into the inner workings of Apple. Jobs seems to have multiple issues and control problems, but there is little doubt that he can be creative and run a company. In fact, Apple was dying before he came back on board. When he did, he turned the company around and started making a ton of money again. The reason I read this book was to learn about the image of a company or product. To me, the image of the church is important. One of the major agendas that I have in Waynesboro is to create a positive image of the church in the community. I would love to hear people's thoughts on this concept. The book did not really help with image control, it was more for those who love Apple. But overall it was a interesting book for people wanting to dig deeper into the Apple world.

3 out of 5 stars Are you new to the Mac? this book just may be for you.   August 25, 2008
I would love to give this book 4 stars but... if you are a mac head like me you, or think you are. You will (for the most part) already know just about everything in this book. Now if you are wanting to start a company and would like to learn from one of the best in the world, Jobs is the man. If you have a kindle this book is $9.99 thats the way I got it.

5 out of 5 stars Quick and fun being in his head   August 19, 2008
This was an overall fun, and super fast read. I thoroughly enjoyed the overview we get of what goes on behind the closed doors at Apple. I especially enjoyed the small section on Jonathan Ive. In addition to covering Steve Job's thinking process, we also get small snippets of his closest associates and a good view into the inception of many of Apple's most well known products. I think for me this was what made an interesting read even better.

5 out of 5 stars Inside look at the growth of a person and how he lead Apple to success.   August 15, 2008
This was a very good book that provided an inside look at the way Apple grew with Steve Jobs at the helm. The book provides the leadership skills that Steve uses to motivate, create, and expand sales for Apple. Good and easy read with tips you can use in your professional career.
